My daughter was jealous that there were more photos of her sister in the photoblog than of her. I told her if she was home more I would shoot more of her. After all, I’d love to have a beautiful willing subject to practice photographic techniques. ;-)
Recently, I was reading about principles of photographic composition. Specifically, the The Rule of Thirds. By placing your subject to one side of the image, you create a sense of balance. Since my daughter was looking off to the side, I used this principle to create a sense of space. This is my first attempt at purposely using any particular photographic principle. Hope you like it!
