I’ve been going back and forth on this photo for DAYS deciding what I wanted to do with it.
It is very blurry as I was in a low-light situation yet I loved this expression on her face. She wanted blue ice cream and here she is protecting it from her little brother who was angling for it every chance he could.
Since I really wanted to “save” this photo, I went vintage on it… post-processing it with Lily Blue’s Coral action and then running Itty Bitty’s B/W Peach Tone action. Vignette the edges and viola! Vintage blartsy photo. In Flickerland, blurry + artsy = blartsy. No.. really. LOL

The blartsy works! Hehe… I love that term!
Oh, that is too sweet! I would have tried to save it, too. What a story it tells. I have never heard of blartsy before either.
Ice cream is not for sharing. At least once it gets into my bowl.
she's got a very possessive hold on that bowl :)!
Beautiful shot. She is gorgeous. I want some ice cream too!
Great "save"! I've never heard of Blartsy! Nice to know the two can go hand in hand! Her expression is just classic!
It's adorable – and you're right, it has a golden days type of feel to it.
Not only do I love her expression, I love that you explained how you processed the photo. I never know what to do with my pics so it's nice to learn a little. Thanks!
Thank you everyone! Blartsy is a fun term, huh?! LOL
Susie, I know what you mean! I love reading the work flow of others as well. It is how I learn best!

Good save!
Blartsy! I love it…and the hint of blue ice cream around her mouth – that's great!
I think that the vintage processing is perfect with this shot — it's beautiful!
Sometimes even a "blartsy" photograph makes a perfect photograph. Great save!
Way to save it with a Vintage Blartsy! I think my 3-year-old would like that term – it's very close to "fartsy" See what I mean?
I love her expression too, Mmm, yummy blue ice cream!
