A big storm hit us just as we were getting home last Sunday. Within literally a minute of us pulling into the garage, we heard a big pop and crack. Winds were hurricane strength.
We went to the front porch to watch this fast and furious storm. The tornado warning siren went off. Thankfully we did not experience one.
And thank God we did not lose electric unlike hundreds of thousand residents of metro Detroit. However, we did go many days without internet connection.
This tree in our neighbor’s yard shows the fury of the storm.
I'm glad the damage wasn't any more than that. That whole thing had to be a bit freaky.
