On Saturday June 3rd, Joshua had his very first horse riding lesson! He was fearless and looked like he was born to ride! Here is a short video clip of his first lesson riding Cajun. Ann-Marie was teaching him to keep his heels down, toes up and how to stop a horse. Joshua got the “whoa” down fabulously!

Taken Saturday while we were at the barn. It seems every year, her hair gets more red and her eyes more blue. I guess that’s what happens when you combine a healthy dose of Scottish on my husband’s side and a strong influence of Irish from both my husband’s AND my side.

Another taken from November’s Florida trip. My boy was scared of the waves for the longest time. It wasn’t until the last 30 minutes we were there that he began to be adventurous enough to play in the water. By the time we were ready to leave, he didn’t want to go! Isn’t that how it always is with toddlers? lol

Kayla was loving swimming in the water on our vacation. As I sat there upon the sugar white beaches watching her, fun memories flooded back to me of my childhood growing up on these Florida beaches.

First time at the beach and loving it! Although it did take Josh a long time to realize that the waves would not take him out to sea. Rachel took to it right away and didn’t want to leave!
