In the winter, our beautiful lilac tree is weighted down by the snow. Dead and lifeless, it droops its branches in surrender to the brutal winter.
I can not wait until spring, when the fragrant lilac branches lift heavenward in praise of warm weather again.

No… this was post-processed a bit since it was a tad under-exposed. The overcast day helped keep the snow glare to a minimum.
