We started riding at a new stable, Twillingate. Charlie is an older paint Quarter Horse mare that Mikayla has been riding these last 2 lessons. She’s a bit lazy, but a good teacher to new riders.

Oh he is beautiful! This may sound silly, but I can smell him! I haven't rode in many years, but I love the smell of horses (not the poo, haha, but the smell of their fur is lovely to me)
I miss horses! I miss hearing them, seeing them and even smelling them. He’s sure a fine one.
