Howdy! I’m Christine, wife to my soulmate, Bryon, and mom to 4 beautiful kids. Welcome to our photoblog!

Two years ago we got a Fuji FinePix to replace our dying Kodak camera. I’ve always been known to be “camera happy,” and I have hundreds of printed photographs to prove it. But I had never owned anything other than a point-and-shoot camera. Yep… all of the photos you see here are shot with a point-and-shoot. Granted, a “high-end” point-and-shoot but still, I have equipment limitations that I have to overcome. And that’s why I developed this photoblog: to challenge myself to become a better photographer despite any camera limitations. (I still pine for a DSLR, though… )

I hope to share my journey through these photos with family and friends. Hopefully you will see over time the quality improve. Although most of my subject matter will be my family, I also hope to bring God’s beautiful creations to life here on this blog. I hope you come along for the journey.

I shoot in JPEG format and post-process my digital images with GIMP v2.4.4 and Photoshop CS3.

This site currently uses WordPress version 2.8.2. It is built on the Atahualpa WP Framework by BytesForAll.
