Can you believe it has been a year since I last posted on our old photoblog (and over 6 months on our regular family blog)?! So much has happened since then that kept me from blogging and posting photos like work, homeschooling, work, and oh! A pregnancy and a birth! See the photo above? Meet our new little boy…

For those who love the details, labor started at 5:03am and yes, the midwife made it on time for this birth! Good thing, too, since it was a difficult labor (but mercifully short) and baby had trouble breathing at the beginning. But as you can see, by 3 days of age when this photo was taken, he had improved 110% and was pronounced healthy and thriving. And everyone is in love with our littlest man… well all but Josh who currently has a love/hate relationship with his new baby brother.

Oh he is so beautiful and what an amazing picture! So glad your labor was mercifully short and that he’s doing well now! Congrats again and happy babymoon!
