“Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me.” He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: “That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave”
You may be whatever you resolve to be. (From General Stonewall Jackson’s personal journal)
I like your caption/description that accompanies the lovely image. Love the subtle tones and coloration.
Nice photograph and caption. Before reading your title and caption I saw a lovely old lady, hehe… I am strange sometimes. But I see the beauty in the flower compared to the beauty of an old woman.
Thank you Marcie!
SuRI, you made me laugh but you are right, too. There is beauty at all stages of life… we just have to *see* it.
